Beehive ginger is a beautiful plant found at Las Cruces Biological Station in Costa Rica. In the botanical garden, it grows alongside other plants that were imported from around the world. But what happens when these exotic plants jump the fence and invade the surrounding forest? As they demand resources from the environment, they can disrupt the natural order. Is this cause for alarm or part of an ever-changing ecosystem?
